My name is Megan Wood, Owner and Creator of The Lake Collection.

I grew up spending my summers at my family cottage on Kushog Lake in the beautiful Haliburton, Ontario. I always loved exploring the local shops and seasonal markets throughout "Cottage Country" but noticed a lack of apparel and decor that had our lake name on it - in fact, it was only common to find large lake names on anything.

I decided I wanted to make products accessible and customizable to all lakes - big or small - and to anyone, anywhere. In the spring of 2020, I began creating custom pillows and mugs - common household items and comfort items you would use or see everyday. I have since expanded the collection of products to include various cottage comfort items and gifts such as apparel, blankets, signs, drinkware and more.

 

Whether it's adding something personalized to your home or cottage, I look forward to creating something unique for wherever your special place may be.
